Dear Dad,

Happy Father's Day!!! The day is warm here, so I hope to also send warm wishes for pleasant weather in Korea! I wish you great health and happiness in your life, as well as a bright future. Thank you for the colorful shirt and card for my 16th birthday. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness. Although the shirt is a little small for my size, I think I can wear it for this year, but not next year.

I have some nice pictures of me from marching and playing in the Memorial Day Parade, which I will send to you as soon as I transfer them from the camera.

I have been looking for a job to support our family, even if I make only a very small amount of money. As of now, I think I will work as a cashier at Hannaford's. In this economy, it is fortunate to receive a job at all! Although I may have to work diligently during the summer, I will need the money to pay for my driver's education, which costs about $600.

I also have some good news to tell you, which I will send along with the Band Parade pictures. Since I have a limited computer time of one hour per day, I will send the email to you not today, but probably tomorrow. If I don't email you tomorrow, it will be the day after at the latest. In any case, I will email to you as soon as possible.

Since I'm taking highly challenging courses next year, including Advanced Placement U.S. History, I have loads of summer reading homework to do. I will have to manage my time and set up productive schedules during the summer since I would like to accomplish a lot of things. I have really enjoyed the first week of summer vacation and went outside a lot.
